Farmhouse Romance Faith, Hope and Love

Heart Bowl Fillers

Here at Sweet Magnolias Farm..we love to Romance the Farmhouse with our Hope, Love and Faith Heart Bowl Fillers.

This set of 3 Hearts has that perfect twist of Prim and shabby.

One heart is made from onsburg ..the second heart is made from a tiny light brown homespun check and the third is made from a tan striped mattress style ticking.

Each heart has a Vintage lace banner across the front side with a vintage Lace flower embellishment that's topped with a vintage fabric covered button in deep cocoa brown.

Each heart had a muslin banner stamped in sepia with the words Hope Faith and Love printed on them.

The Hearts Measure: 6 inches long x 5 inches wide and are wonderfully stuffed in an old fashioned way with sawdust giving them that old fashioned feeling.

Each heart is Made from a Gorgeous large Floral ..repro barkcloth.

Each heart has a Vintage seam binding banner ..each held on with 2 vintage mother of pearl buttons.

The Amore which means "love" banner has a light aged pink banner

The Belle which means "Beautiful" has a light aged blue banner

The Je T'aime which means " I love you" has an aged cream banner

The Hearts Measure: 6 inches long x 5 inches wide and are wonderfully stuffed in an old fashioned way with sawdust giving them that old fashioned feeling.

Floral Scripture Feather Pillow

Here at sweet Magnolias Farm ..we just adore ..early ephemera pieces ..and love to use them in our designs ..to make the farmhouse a little bit sweeter.

We are offering our new line of Vintage Feather Pillows.

They are positively scrumptious !!! Made from a Vintage Damask tablecloth that has a gorgeous floral design throughout it..and can be seen when the light catches it just right ..this pillow is just stunning.

On the Front you'll find a Beautiful Early Ephemera Print of a Basket of flowers tumbling over and at the top of the pillow a scripture... "Serve the Lord with Gladness" ps.100:2.

Please take note that our vintage ephemera designs are printed directly to the fabric ..they are not iron-ons ..so they don't have that vinyl feel and look ..these have a wonderful early and old fashioned quality appeal.

We stuffed the pillow with light, soft Feather down....giving this pillow pure Farmhouse Comfort !

It's pure perfection ..for sitting on your favorite little shelf or cupboard ..dancing beautifully with a grouping of pillows on your bed ..or simply adorning your nightstand nestled beside your favorite stack of antique books.

This Sawdust Pillow front pictures an early photo from the late 1800's ..of a group of chicks that are out in the farm brush ..and have found an old straw hat to sit in.

The pillow is made of hand aged muslin with sepia tones ..and filled with sawdust ..it has that wonderful soft rumply feeling and makes for a Great Display !

These lovely Heart Bowl Fillers are simply perfect ..the whole year through !

Each one has an Authentic Vintage Ephemera design fabric print. We print directly to the fabric ..we do not use iron-ons...so you won't have that vinyl look and feel ... Our design is printed directly to the fabric and has a wonderful early and old fashioned appeal.

The Queen of Hearts ...has a beautiful aged vintage satin seam binding banner ..held on with 2 antique mother of pearl buttons and is printed in a lovely red ..with the word "Queen"

The Duchess is ever so Beautiful and also has and aged vintage satin seam binding banner ..held on with 2 antique mother of peal buttons and is printed in a lovely red with the word "Duchess"

Homespun Stacking Pantry Boxes

A Sweet Magnolias Farm original.

This Quaint Heirloom Stacking Pantry Box Gathering is Early Inspired Perfection. It fits the Early Style Decorated home with ease and grace.

We covered this Set in a Trio of Vintage Style fabrics that compliment each other Beautifully. The larger bottom pantry box we have covered in a wonderful old tan and cream plaid homespun ..The Middle box we covered in a beautiful cotton floral on a soldier blue backdrop ..and the last little box we covered in a sweet tan and cream calico print.

Each of the stacking boxes ..has an old fashioned knot tie encircling it ..The tie is old beeswax book binders string which lends to that wonderful old feel of these pantry boxes.

The middle box has an old style hang tag attatched to it ..which we have aged and embellished with old copper wire wrapped at the top and the bottom right corner as well as an old scrap from a vintage book and a rustic skeleton key to top it off. The Tag is that perfect added touch to this homespun trio.

To the inside of each box ..we lined them in old style newspaper print tissue ..giving them that wonderful old appeal ..that we love so dearly ..and we like that this trio has the custom touch on the inside ..something you won't find anywhere else ..

This Set Looks Stunning stacked atop an old country cupboard ..on a dresser top or even an entry table .Use them to keep odds and ends ..sewing notions or even craft supplies in They make a Great disguise.

Ditty Bag

Never enough ditty bags ..is a saying we have here at the farmhouse ...because it seems there's always the perfect spot to tuck or hang one...rather it's snug on a shelf with an old pair of baby shoes or a stack of old books ...or hung from the peg rack or an old cupboard door...

This Ditty is extra special ..it's been made from an early antique wool crazy quilt ...

The Quilt Front ..we have embellished with an old lace trim remnant ... and stamped in sepia tones ..the sentiment " Rock of Ages " To each side it is adorned with 2 vintage buttons with string ties and old facric covered hooks of yesteryear.

Just below ..you'll find an antique Lace Cross ..with Vintage Buttons with string ties ..that compliment it with perfection !

To the side of the Cross ..a single lace medallion ..with a Vintage Jewelry find of Praying hands adorning it ..is a lasting and lovely touch.

The Bottom of the Ditty ...is Beautifully dressed in Authentic Antique Wide Lade Trim ..

Lastly the top of the bag ..draws shut with an aged vintage lace Bow tie ...and The back of the bag is made from aged and felted wool.

This ditty is in Beautiful shades of Deep Browns, Blacks and Greys,

It measures a Generous: 15inches long x 11 inches wide

~ Vintage Lace Heart Runner ~

This positively stunning Lace Runner has a wonderful Heart border ... just perfection for the Romantic Farmhouse.

This piece most likely dates to the 1980's ..when reproduction lace was so very popular. Making this piece around 30 yrs of age.

It is in Perfect condition ..and is just breath taking ..with it's fine lace work and it's lovely hearts that border the edge. It is made from 100% cotton ..and can be used in it's beautiful white or dyed if you choose to do so.

We can see this piece ..centered on an old harvest table ..an old farmhouse entry table...Or even laying across an old trunk ..with some Beautiful ironstone pieces displayed atop it. It would even make a great lace valance over a charmingly small window.

It is generous in length and measures: 46 inches long x 12 inches wide.

Here at the farmhouse ..we are always trying to create pieces that reminisce an earlier time. Pieces That bring that feeling of warmth and charm into the home.

This One of a Kind Mirror and Towel Keep is full of early rustic charm ..and truly romances the farmhouse.

Made from reclaimed lumber and embellished with reclaimed trims and antique hardware ..the Mirrored top is just stunning.

The Antique Vintage Towel With Antique wide lace trim is Very Long and Lovely ..we embellished it with a vintage gros grain ribbon topped with a vintage lace trim and a wonderful antique metal button.

Meet... Flora Bella

Here at the farmhouse ..ever so often we are inclined to create a wonderful early inspired doll ..and Flora Bella is our newest member.

She is a soft bodied doll made from aged muslin and softly stuffed for that wonderful scrunchy feeling. Her face is handstictched with a sculpted nose.

She has been dressed in vintage millineries ..from an authentic antique baby dress ..that we have embellished with vintage Laces ...and Rhinestone Jewelry finds.

Flora Bella ..has a sweet pair of cotton bloomers hiding beneath her dress ..and she wears a sweet lace apron ..topped in vintage lace floral trim dotted with austrian rhinestones. Her apron has a sweet eyelet strap that reaches around her neck and one that ties at the waist on her back.

Flora is the sweetest ever ..in her wide brimmed white hat ..embellished with a lace flower and some vintage rihinestones ..Oh and did you see her flowers she's holding ..a mini vintage shaker filled with wire and button flowers topped in rhinestones ..is positively charming.

Flora Bells is ever so ready to grace her new home ...She's looking for a sweet place to sit ..and bring a happy smile to passers-by and a bit of happy reprise to the room.

A Sweet Magnolias Farm One of a Kind Design.

Ditty Bags are a favorite here at Sweet Magnolias Farm ..we have a little saying .."Never enough Ditty Bags" around the farmhouse. There's always a little something rather it's some of Grandmas old lace and buttons ..or some precious what not ..that need a special home ..or a Birthday pops up and you need a way to wrap something special ..and well a ditty bag ..seems to be just the perfect solution for these things and more...hung from an old peg rack, or an old country cupboard door ..the ditty just brightens up and adds some charm !

Well this special one of a kind Bag ..is Pure Antique and Prim Perfection !

Made from an early repro civil war calico in cocoa brown with a cream design ..it has that wonderful early feel. We then layered it with an early ephemera fabric print of a Beautiful Lady ..wearing a Straw Hat filled with Daisies and feather plumes ...She is just Beautiful ! She is trimmed in Authentic Antique Lace.. Along with Vintage pearls in a grogeous design above the photo print. Below we added a very special find ..made from bakelite ..an oval embellishment with the name Amanda cut out inside it.

The bottom of the bag is trimmed in an authentic antique lace ever so sweet with raised lace flowers ..and topping it off is a gorgeous deep cocoa brown velvet ric rac ..that is just scrumptious !

The top of the bag draws nicely shut ..with a Vintage Dark Satin ribbon ..each ot the tips trimmed with old style round metal and paper hang tags ..beautifully aged and stamped with the initials ARW.

This lovely ditty ..measures: 13 inches in length x 8 inches wide.
